Beginners Photography Class | January 6th 2018

Are you a parent who loves taking portraits of your child?! But the images aren't what you envisioned...

Did you buy a fancy new DSLR (not a point and shoot) and can't figure out how to do anything outside the 'Auto Mode'?

Do you know the basics but can't seem to get to the next level?

Then this is the class for you!

Here are all the details. Class is held from 9:30am-1:30pm at my studio in Westbrook.

Here are some of the things we will cover :

  • How to take your camera off auto and begin shooting 100% in manual

  • How to know which camera settings to use in different situations

  • How to take sharp pictures with that beautiful blurred background

  • How to get just the right exposure (not too bright, not too dark)

  • How to shoot with natural light in all kinds of settings

  •   How to take portraits and action shots

  • How to shoot indoors and outdoors

  • We will go over lens types and flash options and more

Don't just take my word for it. Here is what others had to say:

"I loved Jen's workshop and left so excited to shoot more. I loved seeing her examples of images, with recommended settings.  The shooting part was the best because (shooting in manual) actually started to click for me!! I would love to take another class with Jen!" -Renee Palm

"I loved the hands on part - of having us all shoot the same thing and then share what was working for us and what was not. I really appreciated the quick tips on light and how to bounce light around." Sarah

The class investment is $189.
