"Impressed with the work she did for my sister's wedding, we asked Jen to photograph our July wedding at Camp Hammond. She was positive, relaxed, and professional. And fun! Having her in the room while I was getting ready seemed natural—as if a member of my family just so happened to have photographic talent. Our group tended to be a little unruly when it came to group photos, but Jen has an incredible ability to bring people together and take care of business efficiently, and with humor. As the evening continued, we hardly knew Jen was there, but it was clear when we saw the photos that she had, in fact, been everywhere, snapping up moments even we missed.

After the wedding was over, Jen kept in constant contact about our photos and was quick to post them to her website. She put together a wonderful album for us and helped take care of numerous orders for our families. The photos themselves are gorgeous—they capture us, and the spirit of the day. I love that Jen really is an artist and brings that sensibility to her work—she focuses on details and thus our wedding photos are unlike anybody else's. We treasure them."

Kate (my sister) and I had two very different weddings. Kate & Anthony's was sophisticated and elegant, the ceremony was in a church, and it was October. Heather & I got married in June, our ceremony was under an arch in my mom's garden and the reception was in a tent in the backyard as well. The photographs from both are wonderful and truly reflect the tone of each day.

Jen has an amazing eye for capturing the subtle moments that you don't even know are happening until you see the pictures—a glance, crazy dancing, the way the bouquets looked laying on the grass. She also makes sure she gets every shot you ask for—is meticulous in fact, about having a list in advance and checking them off. Her formal pictures are as well crafted as her candids—but truly the unexpected, authentic, moments are the ones I cherish most.
